Workshop Dinner: On the evening of July 5th 2018 – Thursday, there will be Dinner.

Before and after the dinner, delegates will be given a unique opportunity to listen to Klapa music- a form of a traditional „a cappella“ singing in Dalmatia, Croatia. In 2012 Klapa was inscribed in UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

City tour: On the afternoon of July 6th 2018 – Friday, there will be a visit to the city centre most known historical locations (bus and walking city tour)

The majority of international flights to Croatia terminate at Zagreb Dr. Franjo Tuđman International Airport (http://www.zagreb-airport.hr/en). There are international flights directly from a respective number of major cities in Europe. Major European cities connected directly to Zagreb (i.e. Frankfurt, Munich, Vienna, Amsterdam, Brussels) are very well connected to overseas and other European destinations. You can take a taxi (25 minutes) or a Croatia airlines bus (35 minutes) from outside the airport that operates every 30 minutes during usual hours, and after each domestic or international arrivals and takes travellers to Zagreb central bus station (http://www.plesoprijevoz.hr/)

o By train

Accommodation

The Faculty of Economics and Business is in the close range of the Zagreb city centre (just a few tram stations away). Zagreb Electric Tram (local public transport) possesses a very well organized transportation network around the city – tram lines.

Additional note for the delegates/participants

Should any of the delegates wish to enjoy their longer stay in Croatia even before or after the workshop, Zagreb is a few hours away from the coast line by car (i.e. two hours from city of Zadar (http://www.zadar.travel/en) - in the south, four hours from city of Split (http://www.visitsplit.com/en/409/contact-us) – in the south and Pula (http://www.pulainfo.hr/ ) in the west, seven hours from city of Dubrovnik (http://www.tzdubrovnik.hr/lang/en/news/lifestyle/index.html) - in the south. Many monuments of the afomentioned cities are designated as world heritage site.

All aforementioned cities can also be reached by air from Zagreb airport. Also in a very close proximity to Zagreb – an hour and a half on your way to the coast by car Plitvička jezera (one of seven unique national parks and worldwide known heritage assets) are situated and are very worth seeing (http://www.np-plitvicka-jezera.hr/en/).

Also, along its coast line Croatia has around 1000 very beautiful islands with remarkable beaches.
