Abstracts (1-2 pages) for the workshop are to be submitted by March 1st, 2018 to: cigar2018@net.efzg.hr. All submissions will be refereed by the members of the Scientific Committee. Acceptance or rejection notice will be provided by April 1st. On acceptance to the CIGAR workshop, full papers would be expected by June 10th, 2018.

Abstracts should include:

• Purpose of the paper;
• Research methodology;
• Main findings and implications.

This track is open to PhD students currently pursuing a doctoral degree in the general area of public sector accounting, regardless the earlier or later stage of their work.

Proposals are to be submitted by April 1^st 2018, to cigar2018@net.efzg.hr

Upon acceptance (expected by May 1^st 2018), final projects or papers (no longer than 25 pages) should be submitted by June 10^th 2018.

Proposals might refer to theses either following a traditional model of a monography, or paper-based. Both qualitative and quantitative methodologies are accepted.

Initial proposals should not exceed 10 pages and refer to:

• Background and main purpose of the research;
• Summary of the theoretical framework;
• Research question(s) and, if applicable, hypotheses;
• Research methodology;
• Expected findings, contributions and implications (for early stage thesis proposals);
• Main findings, contributions and implications (for later pre-doctoral stage or finalized papers).
